The services rendered by a construction company are very wide with various dimensions depending on what the firm is engaged to execute. It is usual for the company to depend on the contract documents released by the client – Drawings, Bills of Quantities and Specifications.

1. This policy is to assist in the provision of a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, Contractors, clients and visitors to EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD project premises. The Policy will minimize Emecon Technologies Works Limited’ and contractors’ exposure to risk in any project involving the additions, alteration or maintenance of Emecon Technologies Limited’ project buildings, equipment or services infrastructure by the use of Contractors.
EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD LTD is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all employees, customers/clients and others that may be affected by the issues arising from the engagement of Contractor.
Unless agreed by Emecon Technologies Works Limited, any project involving the constructions, additions, alteration or maintenance of EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD project buildings, equipment or services infrastructure shall be duly authorised and project managed by an EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD appointed Project Manager.
No work on EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD location is permitted without the appropriate statutory authorization permit as dictated by this Policy.
EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD employees and Contractors are required to read and comply with the requirements of this Policy before any contract being agreed.
a) Suitably experienced to perform the tasks

b) In possession of all necessary licenses, registrations and insurance required to perform the work safely and in compliance with appropriate regulations and duly accredited by Emecon Technologies Works Limited.
c) Carry out preliminary inspection and be acquainted with any potential hazards associated with the location or use of the area where the works are to be carried out.
d) Made aware of the EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD Emergency Procedures, inducted in the Emecon Technologies Limited’ Safety Policies.
e) Procure and maintain throughout the term of this Contract adequate insurance coverage from a reputable Insurance Company registered in Nigeria or an International Firm with offices in Nigeria, acceptable to EMECON TECHNOLOGIES LTD to cover such risk as are customarily and statutorily required to be maintained, including but not limited to Workmen Compensation, Employer’s Liability and contractors all risk Insurance for its employees, contractors and sub contractor.
